Väderstad, one of the world’s top tillage, drilling, and planting manufacturers, has introduced a new micro granulate option for the Tempo L 12-24.
Pneumatic distribution on the new BioDrill 500 allows for precise administration of starting fertiliser, slug pellets, or pesticide.
The name comes from the hopper’s large capacity of 500 litres, which is located in the centre of the drawbar. The micro granulates are transported from the hopper to the distribution heads at the back of the Tempo L by a powerful hydraulic fan on the front of the BioDrill 500. ISOBUS sectional control with two sections and an output capacity of 2-50 kg/ha is possible with the well-known Fenix III electrical metering system.
One distribution head is located on each wing of the Tempo L and splits the micro granulate into each row unit before transporting it to the coulter. Having two distribution heads, combined with two Fenix III metering system, also means that we have the possibility to shut off distribution on one side using Task Control, says Mattias Hovnert, SVP Global Sales & Marketing at Väderstad.
To further control output of the micro granulates, the Fenix III electrical metering system has interchangeable rollers, which you can easily change depending on what output you prefer.
The BioDrill 500 can be paired with Tempo L 12-24 row units and will be available to order from June 1st 2022.
