Description
Are you ready to take the driver’s seat in your career? We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Manager to lead our exceptional service team to new heights. You will be overseeing daily operations of the automotive service department, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. Leading and inspiring a team of skilled technicians, fostering growth and teamwork, and delivering outstanding customer experiences, building trust and loyalty with every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the service team.
- Develop and implement service strategies to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Monitor and improve service processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with Isuzu’s standards and guidelines.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer experience.
- Complying with Health & Safety regulations and ensuring high standards of housekeeping and security are achieved and maintained within the workshop and surrounding areas.
- Train and mentor service staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor and analyse service department performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
Experience and attributes
- Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive service operations and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using service management software and tools.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Benefits, wellbeing and development
- Annual Salary: Up to £37,500.00
- Working Hours: 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. During Harvest, hours will be 7.30am to 6.30pm, with weekend and additional hours may be required.
