Crawfords Charing Depot, a leading provider of agricultural machinery and services, is thrilled to announce the success of its Charity Tractor Dyno Day, held on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Despite the rain, spirits remained high as farmers, contractors, and enthusiasts gathered for a day of horsepower and goodwill.
The event drew excellent attendance, with over 40 tractors participating in the dyno event. Three dynamometers were in operation, manned by skilled technicians from across Crawfords Group who eagerly contributed their expertise to ensure the smooth running of the day’s activities.
In addition to the dyno event, attendees could explore the showroom, which featured special offers and new products from brands such as Stihl, Grassmen, Stanley, Draper, and more. A highlight of the day was displaying a range of vintage tractors, including a new Scania 590s from K Drury & Sons with some exceptional paintwork capturing the nostalgia and evolution of agricultural machinery.
Crawfords Charing Depot thanks Ashford Young Farmers Club (YFC) and Kent County YFC for their invaluable support as stewards for the event, ensuring everything ran seamlessly.
However, the accurate measure of success lies in the generosity of those who attended—through their contributions and participation, the Charity Tractor Dyno Day raised an impressive total of £1501.02 for GUTS UK, a charitable organisation dedicated to digestive diseases.
Commenting on the event, Tom Bar, Branch Manager at Crawfords Charing Depot, said, “We are overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm shown by the community despite the weather. The success of this event would not have been possible without the dedication of our team, the participation of customers, and the generosity of our sponsors. We are proud to support GUTS UK in their vital work.”
