Agricultural, Horticultural and Garden Machinery Specialists

About Agwood

Agwood’s journey started with its founder, Ian Wood, who laid its foundation in 1978 as a sole trader. With a Renault franchise, Ian embarked on a path marked by resilience and adaptability. In 1998, recognising the shifting markets, Agwood transitioned to Case iH.

A significant turning point in Agwood’s history came in 2006 when Massey Ferguson, a global leader in agricultural equipment, chose to strengthen its presence in the region through a strategic partnership with Agwood.

History

The year 2021 marked another chapter in Agwood’s growth story. Massey Ferguson, recognising our capabilities and commitment, entrusted us with the expansion of our territory into Sussex and Surrey. This was a significant milestone, solidifying our position as a premium agricultural solutions provider in the region and reflecting our dedication to serving a wider customer base.

In 2022, the Massey Ferguson brand under Crawfords in Essex transitioned across to sit under the Agwood brand.

Today, Agwood operates from four strategically located depots spanning Kent, Sussex, Essex, and Surrey. At the heart of our ethos lies an unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled customer service. Our team, driven by a passion for excellence, prides itself on providing our valued customers with second-to-none support and product assistance.

Through investment in training, specialised tools, and a comprehensive parts inventory, we ensure minimal downtime for our customers, enabling them to operate efficiently. Our full workshop and parts services, available at both branches, empower us to respond swiftly and effectively to any requirement.

Moreover, our in-branch facilities for PTO shaft repair, coupled with a diverse range of consumable items such as hardware, tools, lubricants, and PPE, underscore our approach to customer satisfaction.
